TL;DR: Use CloudDL responsibly and legally. Don't use it to download copyrighted content you don't have rights to. The service is provided as-is with no guarantees.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By signing in and using CloudDL, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
CloudDL is a personal cloud download manager that allows authorized users to download files from URLs, YouTube, streaming platforms, and torrents, saving them directly to their personal Google Drive. The backend runs on Google Colab and is subject to Google Colab's own usage policies.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use CloudDL only for lawful purposes. You must not use this service to:
- Download or distribute copyrighted content without the rights holder's permission.
- Download malware, illegal files, or any content prohibited by law in your jurisdiction.
- Attempt to overload or abuse the server infrastructure.
- Share your account access with unauthorized users.
- Use the service for any commercial purpose without prior written consent.
You are solely responsible for what you download using this service.
4. Access & Authorization
CloudDL is an invite-only service. Access is granted at the discretion of the operator. Authorized users must use their approved Google account to sign in. Attempting to circumvent access controls is prohibited and will result in immediate revocation of access.
5. Google Account & Drive
By using CloudDL, you authorize the service to upload files to your Google Drive on your behalf using the drive.file scope. You are responsible for managing and maintaining your Google Drive storage. CloudDL is not responsible for any data loss within Google Drive.
6. No Warranty
CloudDL is provided "as-is" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uptime, download speed, or the availability of any specific URL or platform. The backend may be unavailable at any time without notice (e.g., when the Colab session is not running).
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CloudDL and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — this service, including loss of data or files.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to revoke your access at any time, for any reason, without notice — especially in cases of misuse or violation of these terms.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the new terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law principles.
